In 2016, Julia Werhahn and I were invited for a 2-week artist residency in San Stino di Livenza, Italy. Together with other artists we were housed in the former childhood home of Hugo, a local with whom the residency collaborated.

We asked fellow residency participants to record their walking through the empty house corridor, using a hand-held camera recorder for observation, following their own pace and curiosity. All participants had the same starting point at one end of the corridor. The recordings were later projected onto the outside of the building for the exhibition.
